Album issue: RCA Special Products-LP12
"By Special Request"
Heartland HL-1162/63 1991
Note: beginning in the 1960s, electronically
reprocessed stereo versions were released for many popular RCA Victor
albums including "Como's Golden Records". These albums were
designated with an "LPE" number or with an enclosed lower case
"(e)" following the regular album designation. Despite several
attempts to make them sound better, the majority of them were bad. Only
following the introduction of the compact disc has the label begun to
release real stereo two track binaural versions for some of these songs
but usually undocumented. "Catch a Falling Star" was first
released in binaural within the Time-Life Series "Your Hit
Parade" on the 1958 disc.
