The "smoking" cigarette on the cover of this album is indicative of Perry's  long time relationship with Chesterfield Cigarettes, sponsor of the "Supper Club" radio show and the Chesterfield "Perry Como Show" broadcast on television for many years. This was Perry's first formatted 10" LP and titled "TV Favorites" for which songs were culled from recording sessions in March of 1952. One previously recorded song included within this compilation was recorded in December, 1950, "Black Moonlight", one of two songs conducted by the composer Sigmund Romberg, the other being a novelty hit for Perry titled "Zing Zing ~ Zoom Zoom".
