While a few of these recordings have recently popped up here and there within CD compilations, very few of them were released otherwise. Some were re-recorded at a later date, for one reason or another, and a few were released within foreign markets but not domestically within North America. Some of them were simply dropped from their original album sessions through the natural process of selection. "Time" does have a way of changing one's perspective on these things and it's possible that many of these recordings will be released in future compilations within the context of their original time and place. |
