This review is done without the
cooperation of the issuing label. The list of tracks, as presented, is
available through the cooperation of Como fans who purchased the set and were
kind enough to provide this information for use within the Perry Como CD
Companion. The song "Idle Gossip" was never released in North
America. "When You Come To The End of The Day" was recorded once in
1952 and then again for Perry's stereo album of the same name in 1958. The
version released here is unconfirmed.
WARNING:
Sources for this recording have not been identified. BMG UK / AUSTRALIA
compilations have a history of using secondary sources with recordings
re-released in either monaural or fake stereo. These recordings are NOT
digitally remastered from first generation session masters. Caveat
emptor! ( Buyer beware! )
