Recordings marked ( e ) are electronically reprocessed for stereo, a process developed by RCA Victor during the early 60s to enhance recordings previously recorded in monaural only. In general terms, the process was never successful and results proved highly questionable. Strangely, the monaural recordings within this compilation appear to have been sourced from their electronic stereo counterparts and not the original first generation monaural tapes.
