| Songwriter born in Providence, Rhode Island, on November 16, 1921. He appeared frequently on the CBS-TV daytime serial "The Young and the Restless," as a pianist in the Club Allegro. Weisman co-composed more than fifty songs for Elvis Presley, one of which was "Don't Ask Me Why" introduced in the 1958 Hollywood Musical "King Creole" recorded several years earlier by Perry but never released. |
